2015 LYC Bay Cup I
A tough light air race! We worked hard and got first place in PHRF Spinnaker Non-Sprit class.
Here’s a picture of us just after the start:
The wind died at the third mark of a four legged race in Trinity Bay. We were able to maintain some boat speed and persevere but it took a lot of discipline. The wind instruments and the paddle wheel knot-meter both registered zero, but I could see bubbles going by in the water so I could twll we were moving. WE flattened the sails and chased what wind we could find until the wind filled back in.

Short on crew, we switched to Non-Spin and got Second place. At the start:

LYC J/Fest 2014
An all J/Boat regatta, we raced in the PHRF Symmetrical Spinnaker class against a J/29 and J/27 Footloose. We got a lot of second places but beat Footloose in one of them.

Performance Cup Regatta
Toccata won second place in the 5 race regatta with one first and two second places. Great sailing with Chris, Drew, Barry, Shauna, and Wendy. For one of our second place finishes we were less than a second from first place…
